Mr. Sharp referred to the City
Engineer's review dated August 17, 1990 in which it is recommended that the northerly access
onto Tungsten Street be shifted 300 feet South of the centerline of Industry Avenue. Mr. Sharp
stated that if he shifts that access South, he will have to eliminate his second access onto Tungsten
because there is not sufficient frontage for two accesses within the recommended setback from the
centerline of Industry Avenue. The Commission proceeded to review the City Engineer's report.

Mr. Sharp noted that since the Engineer's report, he has revised the site plan to provide all of the
outstanding items noted in the Engineer's report with the exception of obtaining a variance for
access onto Industry Avenue. The Commission was not receptive to the City Engineer's
recommendation regarding accesses and preferred Mr. Sharp's proposal for accesses including one
onto Industry Avenue and two onto Tungsten Street. The Commission advised Mr. Sharp to seek
Anoka County comments regarding the accesses as proposed. Regarding drainage, Mr. Sharp
stated that he was of the understanding that he was supposed to drain the property to the South to a
Planning and Zoning Commission/August 23, 1990
Page 1 of 2
