Attached to the Weekly Update is a Flyer for the <br />Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce Casino Royal Gala. <br />Armstrong Interchange project. Mayor Strommen and Council Member Tossey joined <br />Senator Petersen, and Doug Fischer from Anoka County in testifying before the Minnesota <br />Senate Transportation Committee on Wednesday for the Armstrong Interchange project. The <br />presentation lasted about 20 minutes and Committee members asked several questions, stating <br />that it was a "compelling" story. County Commissioners West and Look were also present. The <br />state is being asked to fund $17 million of the $33 million project. The bill was passed forward <br />to be part of the omnibus transportation bill. <br />
