Thursday, February 28, 2013 5:30 p.m. — Strategic Planning Session - Lake Itasca Room Tuesday, March 5, 2013 5:00 p.m. — Boards and Commission Interviews — Lake Itasca Room Preview of Next Week Strategic Planning Session (5:30 p.m. — LIR) — Dinner provided • Review Strategic Planning Process and Calendar • Review and Approve Three -to -Five Year Mission Elements • Review and Approve Three -to -Five Year Vision Elements • Approve Three to Five Strategic Imperatives February 28, 2013 Board and Commission Interviews (5:30 p.m. — LIR) • Interviews for the City's boards and commissions will be held on Tuesday, March 5 Individual interviews will begin at 5:30 and run through approximately 7:30 p.m. Councilmember /staff dinners will be provided. • Councilmembers will be considering applicants for the following: o 2 Economic Development Authority seats o 1 Environmental Policy Board seat o 2 Park and Recreation Commission seats o 3 Planning Commission seats Council Update Regular March Planning Commission Meeting Cancelled. There will be no Regular Planning Commission scheduled for March 7 as current projects are either already approved or in initial design phase. Staff anticipates a potential request for Planning Commission Work Session in March or April. Water Supply Sustainability in the North Metro. The League of women Voters ABC invites the public to attend their March program at the Andover Senior Center on Monday evening, March 11, for a presentation by Lanya Ross, Principal Environmental Scientist with the Metropolitan Her topic will be "Water Supply Sustainability in the North Metro ". There is a social time and refreshments at 6:00 p.m., followed by the program and discussion at 6:30 p.m. The Andover Senior Center is next door to Andover City Hall at 1685 Crosstown Boulevard NW.
