ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY TASK FORCE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY, <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />On Thursday, November 21, 2002, the Environmental Policy Task Force met in the Conference <br />Room at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Vice Chairperson Michael Max <br />Committee Member Todd Cook <br />Committee Member Erika Sitz <br />Committee Member Sarah Strommen <br />Committee Member Michael Reeve <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Chairperson Joe McDilda <br />Committee Member Margaret Connolly <br />Committee Member Seth Marshall <br />Committee Member Sue Dvorak <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Environmental Specialist Bruce Bacon <br />Councilmember Susan Anderson <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER: <br /> <br />Vice Chairperson Michael Max called the committee meeting to order at 6:45 p.m. <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATIVE ISSUE DISCUSSION <br /> <br />Mr. Max noted that 2 members of the Task Force have been elected to the City Council. This <br />requires a discussion as to whether these 2 committee members should be replaced or should the <br />Task Force continue as a 7 member committee, versus a 9 member committee. <br /> <br />Mr. Cook stated that until this Task Force becomes a commission, the Park and Recreation <br />Commission should appoint someone as a liaison or ex-officio member to the Task Force. <br /> <br />Motion by Committee Member Sitz and seconded by Committee Member Reeve to not replace <br />the two outgoing Task Force members and proceed as 7 member committee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: <br />Strommen. Voting No: None. <br />Dvorak, Marshall <br /> <br />Chairperson Max, Committee members Sitz, Cook, Reeve and <br />Absent: Chairperson McDilda, Committee Members C°nnolly, <br /> <br />Consensus was that as of January 1, 2003, the quorum of the Task Force will be 4 out of 7; and it <br />will take a unanimous vote of a quorum to pass a motion. <br /> <br /> <br />
