Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Principal Planner Patrick Trudgeon <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the work session of the City Council to order at 7:18 p.m. <br /> <br />WORK SESSION TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1) Meeting with Town Center LLC <br /> <br />Members of the Ramsey Town Center LLC presented the progress of the Ramsey Town Center <br />plan including retail opportunities, marketing objectives, key initiatives, and master plan design <br />evolution. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman inquired with the huge expansion of Riverdale in Coon Rapids how <br />does that impact the market analysis. <br /> <br />Mr. Feges replied that the impact of what is already in place is a different composition and <br />characteristic than what is being proposed in the Town Center, by including, civic, fitness, <br />housing, restaurants, and entertainment. <br /> <br />Councilmember Strommen inquired ifRamsey Town Center LLC has looked at what Otsego and <br />Elk River are doing. <br /> <br />City Council/February 18, 2003 <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
