PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA C(N3 NTY STATE OF MINNESOTA A special meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on Tuesday, January 29, 1985 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. Members Present: Mayor Gary Heitman Councilmember Jean Schlueter Councilmember A1 Sorteberg Councilmember Arnie Cox Councilmember Gary Reimann (arrived 7:40 p.m.) Also Present: City Building Official Clayton Berg City Engineer Peter Raatikka Mayor Heitman called the special Council meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. and led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Rick Foster - River's Bend Properties - Stated that at the 1-22-85 Council meeting a request for approval to place a sign at the River's Bend Development area was made and Council requested a drawing of the sign and it's content be submitted; Mr. Foster then presented Council with a drawing of the proposed sign. Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Schlueter granting approval to the placement of a sign at the River's Bend Development area as proposed by River's Bend Properties. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmen~ers Schlueter, Cox and Sorteberg. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Reimann. Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to approve the agenda with the addition of the following: Case #3: Resolution Authorizing Transfer Of Community Development Block Grant Funds To The City Of Ham Lake Councilmember Reimann arrived at this time. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Schlueter. Voting No: None. Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox and Abstain: Councilmember Reimann. January 29, 1985 Page 1 of 3
