ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY TASK FORCE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY, <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />On Thursday, January 16, 2003, the Environmental Policy Task Force met in the Conference <br />Room at the Rmnsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Joe McDilda <br />Vice Chairperson Michael Max <br />Committee Member Erika Sitz <br />Committee Member Sue Dvorak <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Committee Member Seth Marshall <br />Committee Member Michael Reeve <br />Committee Member Margaret Colmolly <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Parks & Utilities Supervisor Mark Boos <br />Environmental Specialist Bruce Bacon <br />Councihnember Sarah Strommen <br />Park Commission Liaison Mike Rolfe <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER: <br /> <br />Chairperson Joe McDilda called the committee meeting to order at 6:40 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Mr. McDilda did not bring copies of the agenda to the meeting. Consensus was to discuss the <br />following items: <br /> <br />League of Conservation Voters Grant <br />Park Commission <br />Draft Tree Preservation Ordinance <br />Status of Tree List and Educational Booklet <br />Status of Canopy Cover Formula <br />Land cover survey; Metro Greenway Corridor Grant <br />Proposed Development of Village At Sunfish Lake <br />Street Trees <br /> <br />Counciimember Strommen suggested that there be a joint meeting between City Council and the <br />Environmental Policy Task Force (EPTF) regarding landscaping in the new town center. <br /> <br />Motion by Committee Member Max and seconded by Comrnittee Member Sitz to approve the <br />agenda as drafted. <br /> <br /> <br />
