ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY TASK FORCE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY, <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />On Monday, February 3, 2003, the Environmental Policy Task Force met in the Conference <br />Room at the Rmnsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Vice Chairperson Michael Max <br />Committee Member Erika Sitz <br />Committee Member Sue Dvorak <br />Committee Member Margaret Connolly <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Chairperson Joe McDilda <br />Committee Member Seth Marshall <br />Committee Member Michael Reeve <br />Park Commission Liaison Mike Rolfe <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Councihnember Sarah Strommen <br />Environmental Specialist Bruce Bacon <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER: <br /> <br />Vice Chairperson Micahel Max called the regular meeting of the Task' Force meeting to order at <br />6:40 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />The consensus was that the following meeting minutes should be on the February 20, 2003 <br />agenda for approval: <br /> <br /> January 6, 2003 <br /> January 11,2003 <br />· January 16, 2003 <br />· February 3, 2003 <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />As no formal agenda was prepared, the consensus of the melnbers present was that the entire <br />meeting would be devoted to reviewing the draft Tree Preservation Ordinance. <br /> <br />REVIEW DRAFT ORDINANCE <br /> <br />The Task Force members and City Staff proceeded to review the draft tree preservation <br />ordinance for corrections, additions and deletions. There was a brief discussion that the tree <br />preservation ordinance was not the appropriate document in which to create an Environmental <br />Board or Commission. Consensus was that a separate ordinance would be drafted for <br />consideration that would establish a permanent board or commission. It was also agreed that the <br /> <br /> <br />
