ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY TASK FORCE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY, <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />On Monday, February 24, 2003, the Environmental Policy Task Force met in the <br />Conference Room at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., <br />Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Joe McDilda <br />Vice-Chairperson Michael Max <br />Committee Member Erika Sitz <br />Committee Member Sue Dvorak <br />Committee Member Margaret Connolly <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Committee Member Seth Marshall <br />Committee Member Michael Reeve <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson McDilda called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Approval of Meeting Minutes (February 12, 2003)was tabled until the March 3, 2003 <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Consensus was to approve the agenda as presented and modified. <br /> <br />TREE ORDINANCE DRAFT <br /> <br />Mr. Max stated that he must leave the meeting at 7:00 p.m. and those present agreed to <br />review his proposed amendments and modifications to the draft ordinance first. <br /> <br />The committee members proceeded to review the draft ordinance for additional changes <br />and corrections. <br /> <br />Ms. Frolik was asked to contact Mr. Boos for recommendations on planting setbacks <br />from curbs, sidewalks, etc., which is located in Subd. 3.b.8,9,10,11,12 and 13 of the draft <br />ordinance. <br /> <br />The title of Subd. 3.r was amended to include 'and Preservation During Construction', <br />which basically merges 'r' and 's' into one item. Language should be added in this <br />section prohibiting washing trucks and burying of debris on the site. This subdivision <br />should also reference the Tree Book. <br /> <br /> <br />
