O~ER

Chairmam Ippel called the special meeting to order at 7:40 p.m.

CITIZgN/,INPUT

None.

COM]4ISSION~BUSINESS

Receipt Of Proposal And Interview With Toltz, King, Duvall.
Anderson and Associates. Incorpora~¢4 (TKDA) For Potential
Consultin~ Engineering Services For Airpor~ Development:

Mr. Dewey Kasma, Lyle Kratzke and Ray Strege of TKDA were present.

The following are highlighted comments made by the TKDA representatives during
the interview:

1. T~DA is willing to participate in a scoping meeting, prior to any
contracts being let, at the firm's expense.

Although TKDA is very involved with the Metropolitan Airport
C~mmission, the project manager in Ramsey's case would be Ray
Strege, he is not involved with MAC; Ramsey would not be treated
as a second class client. TKDA has 65 engineers on staff and the
ability to move people around.

Mr. Strege has worked on several projects similar to that of Gateway's
situation; for instance, Fergus Falls, Brainerd and Glenwood.
Mr. Strege has also handled about 6 zoning projects and currently
working on 2 more.

The Gateway project is desireable because it is a challenge to work
on a project from start to finish, dealing with a variety of issues
and groups.

April 30, 1986
