AIRPORT QOMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAM~EY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey Airport Commission was held on Wednesday, <br />April 17, 1985 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., <br />Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Jack Ippel, Chairman <br />Mr. Dick Sieber <br />Mr. Dennis Donovan <br />Mr. Chuck Soderholm <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Mr. Don Greenberg <br />Mr. John Siebert <br />Mr. Ron Erickson <br />Mr. Steve Larsen <br />Mr. Don Stauffer <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Ippel called the meeting to order at 7:55. <br /> <br />C~ITIZEN _I~ PUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />~PPROVALOF~AIRPORT COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />It was the Con~ission oonsensus to approve the Airport Commission meeting <br />minutes dated March 27, 1985 as prepared. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Discussion Regarding Plans For Public Informational Meeting In <br /> May - <br /> <br />Chairman Ippel stated that Council did approve of a joint City Council/Airport <br />Economic Develo[m~ent/Planning & Zoning meeting on May 15 and did not approve, <br />after consulBing with the City Attorney, the Airport Commission's request for <br />a morator.~um on development in areas potentially affected by the airport <br />study. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sieber noted that the March 27, 1985 Airport minutes reflect that <br />FAA funding for airport development does not look promising and stated that <br />without Federal funds, the cost would be too prohibitive for Ramsey to <br />consider going into the project on a State/local participation basis. <br /> <br />Commissioner Soderholm suggested that now would be the appropriate time to <br /> April 17, 1985 <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
