As the City Council may recall, Final Plat Approval (contingent upon review of final construction plans) was given to Country Club Hills, an 85 -lot single- family subdivision earlier this year. It was anticipated at that time, that construction was to commence in Fall of 2014. Entitlement and revisions to final plans took longer than anticipated of the Developer (Greatland Homes, LLC). The Developer is still hoping for a Spring, 2015 start. The Developer did request information about the possibility of a City Improvement Project assessed back to the benefitting (new) properties. No official request as such has been made, as the Developer has stated that they are reviewing all options. Regardless if a request for an Assessment Project is submitted, the City Council still needs to approve final plans and the final development agreement. Staff anticipates the final Development Agreement to be reviewed by the City Council in the next several weeks.
