Staff just completed workshops at the <br /> ' D~partment Head level regarding requests in the above two areas. <br /> <br />Council is aware that recently we have been afforded the opportunity to consider the <br />purchase of the MUCC building owned by Communicor Corporation. On <br />Thursday, August 6, 1992, members of the Public Works Department, <br />Administrative Staff and Council walked through the building. Members of the <br />Public Works Department have also put together a summary sheet of improvements <br />tl~ey would like budgeted for the building if an acquisition was made. At the <br />August 11, 1992 meeting, as part of the capital outlay requests, we would like to <br />discuss Public Works maintenance facilities generally in order to gauge the Council <br />position on budget and time frame for any acquisition or construction project for <br />such facility.
