Youth First will be hosting its 21st Annual Mayors' <br />Prayer Breakfast on Friday, March 13 at Greenhaven Golf Course in Anoka. The buffet lines <br />will open at 7:15 am with the program starting at 7:30 am.. Chief Katers would like to congratulate <br />Sergeant Rich Webb and Officer Jerad Dixon for being selected as recipients of the Medal of <br />Honor by the Minnesota Chiefs of Police Association (MCPA). They were nominated by Ramsey <br />Police Chief (ret.) Jim Way for their valorous actions in an officer involved shooting in August of <br />2014. A formal presentation of the award will be at the MCPA banquet on April 21, 2015, from <br />6:00 — 9:30 p.m., at River's Edge Convention Center, St. Cloud, MN. <br />If you would like to attend and show your support, please contact Kathy Schmitz at <br />kschmitz @cityoframsey.com or 763 - 433 -9844 before March 18 Please Note: due to the MCPA <br />Banquet, the April 21" Public Works Committee meeting has been canceled. <br />Police Department. Work has been completed on consolidating all building security cameras <br />systems into one system. This consolidation reduces the expense of maintaining four separate <br />camera systems in the Ramsey Municipal Center. Eight additional security cameras have been <br />installed inside City Hall. These cameras assist in the identification of criminal suspects and help <br />deter criminal activity. <br />The Ramsey Police Department squad cars and interview rooms have been upgraded to the <br />Panasonic Arbitrator 360 camera system. This system provides for evidence collection/storage of <br />up to 5 cameras per squad and an officer wireless microphone capability of up to 1 mile. <br />Video storage capacity on the servers have been increased significantly with this recent upgrade. <br />
