This development is known as the HARVEST ESTATES PLAT; which covers
14.86 acres of land and includes 32 individual single family lots. GS Land LLC anticipates mass
grading and construction of public infrastructure to begin soon.
The remaining portion of the former municipal center site, roughly 5.5 acres, includes various
existing improvements and buildings. By summer 2016, required building demolition and site
cleanup work is anticipated to be completed; which will allow for the development of 12 additional
single family residential lots. It is anticipated that construction of Brookfield 6th Addition, an eighteen
(18) lot single family residential subdivision, will begin in the next week or two. The developer,
Capstone Homes, has received approval from the Lower Rum River Water Management
Organization (LRRWMO) to shape some of the lots in a future phase of Brookfield as grading
work is conducted within the 6th Addition as this was part of the approved preliminary plat.
Approval of this request was contingent upon silt fence and erosion control measures being
maintained around all areas to be disturbed.
