PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission was held on Thursday, <br />April 17, 1986 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd., NW, Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: <br /> <br />Dennis Donovan, Chairman <br />Bill Rustad <br />John Lichter <br />Ron Hetland <br />Don Lokker <br />Janice Johnson <br />Marleen Looyen <br /> <br />ALSO PRESENT: Claudia Dodge, Ramsey Community School <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. by Chairman Donovan. <br /> <br />The minutes were read and a correction was noted of the lighting system at <br />Central Park. Motion by Commissioner Rustad to approve the minutes as corrected, <br />seconded by Commissioner Lokker. Motion carried. <br /> <br />CASE #1: Discussion of Sketch Plan of River's Bend Plaza <br /> <br />Ann Norris explained the sketch plan proposed by Mr. Rick Foster. <br />A discussion followed, noting that it is all commercial and office <br />type use, non-residential. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Lichter to accept park dedication fee, <br />seconded by Commissioner Lokker - motion passed. <br /> <br />CASE #2: Discussion of Sketch Plan of Mr. Gar~~ Petrucci <br /> <br />Ann Norris presented the sketch plan of Mr. Gary Petrucci for the <br />property located at 173rd and Germanium and explained that Mr. <br />Petrucci wants to plat two lots, 1½ acres, with an easement for a <br />future road, and leaving the rest of the lot until a future date. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hetland, seconded by Commissioner Lichter, <br />to accept the park dedication fee - motion passed. <br /> <br />CASE #3: <br /> <br />Discussion re~arding Sketch Plan of Voltins Oak Hill Estates <br /> <br />Ann Norris presented the sketch plan of Voltin's Oak Hill Estates. <br />Discussion followed as to specifics - split up 40 acres into 4 lots <br />of 6 acres each, leaving 22 acres; existing county ditch, drainage <br />easement. Arnie Cox joined the discussion, mentioning there are <br />some low areas, not desirable in the spring, and some areas would <br />be high enough to sustain a trail. <br /> <br /> <br />
