PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey Park and Recreation Cor~ission <br />was held on Thursday, August 23, 1984 at the RamseY Municipal <br />Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Dennis Donovan, Chairman <br />Mr. Don Lokker <br />Ms. Janice Johnson <br />Mr. Ron Hetland <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Ms. Sheila Beyer, Deputy City Clerk <br />Mr. Peter Raatikka, City Engineer <br /> <br />Members Absent~ <br /> <br />Mr. Bill Rustad <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Donovan called the regular meeting to order at 7:25 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF PARK 'C'OMMISSIONMEETING'MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hetland and seconded by Commissioner <br />Lokker to approve regular Park and Recreation Commission meeting <br />minutes dated July 19, 1984. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: <br />Lokker, Johnson and Hetland~ <br />Commissioner Rustad. <br /> <br />Chairman Donovan, Commissioners <br />Voting No: None Absent: <br /> <br />Chairman Donovan referred to July 19, 1984 minutes and discussion <br />regarding deVelopment 'of ballfieIds at Cross of Hope Lutheran <br />Church. Chairman Donovan stated that he 'has talked to <br />representatives of RYAA twice and it is 'RYAA'a feeling that amount <br />of funds needed to be raised to match Lutheran~Brotherhood's offer <br />is just too much of an undertaking for RYAA.
