CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, February 17, <br />2004, at the Ramsey Fire Station Number I, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember Patti Kurak <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Assistant Community Development Director Patrick Trudgeon <br />Assistant Director of Public Works Brian Olson <br />Building Maintenance Worker Dan Bray <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 7:13 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />There was node. <br /> <br />TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />A jo/nt meeting with the Planning Commission was scheduled for March 16th following the <br />Public Works Committee meeting. <br /> <br />1) Trott Brook Cemetery <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Nelson stated that the City of Ramsey owns two cemeteries-Trott <br />Brook Cemetery and Foster Cemetery. Trott Brook Cemetery, located along T.H. #47 at <br />approximately 175th Street, is still an active cemetery while Foster Cemetery, located in the <br />southern area of the City is no longer active. The City currently performs minimal maintenance <br />at Foster cemetery and routine maintenance at Trott Brook cemetery. City staff has been meeting <br />with a group of interested individuals regarding the burial records and maintenance of Trott <br />Brook Cemetery.
