-1- <br />Council-7/25/77 <br /> <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> COUNTY OF ANOKA <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on July <br />25, 1977, at 7:30 p.m., at Ramsey Elementary School, 15000 Nowthen <br />Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota 55303 <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Councilman Mickelson <br />Councilman Muller <br />Councilman Reimann <br />Councilman Gamec <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Adm. Asst. Nereson <br />Deputy Clerk Peddycoart <br /> <br />Absent: Mayor Cox <br /> <br />Adm. Asst. Phil Nereson opened the meeting by leading the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br /> <br />Mr. Nereson explained that according to the City Council's procedures <br />Ordinance in the absence of the Mayor, Arnold Cox, and Acting Mayor <br />Gary Gorham (resigned), the City Clerk was to preside over the meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Nereson announced that Tom Gamec has been appointed as Councilman <br />to fill the unexpired term of Gary Gorham until December 1978. <br /> <br />Mr. Nereson gave Tom Gamec the Oath of Office. <br /> <br />Motion by ?~einlan~ seconded by Mickelson to appoint Councilman <br />Robert Muller as Acting Mayor. for the remainder of 1977. 3 Aye.~ <br /> Muller abstaine~ <br /> <br />Motion by Reimann, seconded by Gamec to appoint Councilman Muller <br />as a member of the personnel committee. 3 Aye.< <br /> Muller abstaine( <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Muller presided over the meeting at this point. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />The Agenda was read by Acting Mayor Muller. <br />Motion by Reimann, seconded by Mickelson to accept the Agenda as <br />read. <br /> <br />4 Ayes <br /> <br />CITIZEN'S INPUT <br /> <br />Mr. George Morely, 17740 Flourine Street N.W., was in attendance to <br />find out what is being done by the City in the matter of the Odegaard <br />dog kennel. <br /> <br />Attorney Goodrich said Council gave Odegaard's 60 days or until <br />July 1st to have the dogs removed. Mrs. Odegaard indicated to him <br />that she wanted to appear at the June 27 Council meeting for an <br /> <br /> <br />
