The items on the agenda for this special meeting were (1) <br />consider adoption of Ramsey City Code (2) work shop on future utilities <br />in the 1990 Urban Service Area. <br /> <br />Consideration of City Code Adoption <br /> <br />Administrator Nereson and City Attorney Bill Goodrich reviewed with the <br />City Council the Ramsey City Code. The Code represents ordinances which <br />have been accumulated through City Legislation and Township Legislation <br />over many years. It also represents new zoning and subdivision regulations <br />which are a result of the city comprehensive plan amendment, the Urban <br />Planning District Study Report. Nereson and Goodrich reviewed specific <br />changes which have been made at the City Council's request following an <br />October meeting and review of the code. Specifically these were: <br /> <br />1) Educational policy to the personnel code. <br />2) Temporary mobile home permits. <br />3) Numbers and kinds of animals allowable. <br />4) Home occupation permits. <br />5) Free standing advertising signs. <br /> <br />General discussion was held on the above mentioned sections of the Code. <br />By concensus several changes were made to particular sections of the Code <br />to be revised as a part of overall adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
