Council 4/10/78 <br /> <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> COUNTY OF ANOKA <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A Regular Meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on April 10, 1978, <br />at Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey Minnesota <br />55303 <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br /> <br />Mayor Cox <br />Councilman Gamec <br />Councilman Mickelson <br />Councilman Muller <br />Councilman Reimann <br /> <br />Also Present: Adm. Asst. Nereson <br /> Engineer Raatikka <br /> Bldg. Inspector Berg <br /> <br />Mayor Cox called the meeting to order at 7:40 P.M. <br />Mayor Cox led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox explained that after approving the minutes of last March 13 <br />Council Meeting a public hearing will be held in reference to vacating <br />easement on Highway 47 and 167th Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA: <br /> <br />Mayor Cox read the Agenda. <br /> <br />MOTION by Mickelson, seconded by Reimann to accept the Agenda of <br />March 10, 1978, with the following additions: Citizen Input to be <br />called for right after the Public Hearing; #5 under Old Business - <br />discussion of dogs and pigs situation on Cobalt Street; #6 under Old <br />Business - Arbor Day Celebration and tree sale; #7 under Old Business - <br />complaints regarding Ed Klemish's property. 5 Ayes <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: <br /> <br />March 27, 1978 - Regular Meeting <br /> <br />MOTION by Muller, seconded by Mickelson to approve the minutes of <br />March 27, 1978, as mailed. 5 Ayes <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING: <br /> <br />Vacation of Easement Plat 89211 Parcel 730. Mayor Cox called the <br />Public Hearing to order. He explained that citizens at this point <br />have the right to make any comments pro or con regarding the proposed <br />vacation of easement. <br /> <br />Mr. Nereson explained that the total right-of-way from the centerline <br />of Trunk Highway 47 west is 99 feet.
