Council 4/24/78 PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL CITY OF RAMSEY COUNTY OF ANOKA STATE OF MINNESOTA A Regular Meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on April 24, 1978, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd., MW, Ramsey, Minnesota 55303 Mayor Cox Councilman Gamec Councilman Mickels on Councilman Muller Councilman Reimann Also Present: Adm. ~sst. Nereson Attorney Goodrich Mayor Cox called the meeting to order at 7:38 P.M. Mayor Cox led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Mayor Cox introduced State Representative John Clawson to the public at this time and explained that Mr. Clawson was present for discussion of several topics. He was put on the Agenda as Item ~1 under Old Business. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Mayor Cox read the Agenda. MOTION by Reimann, seconded by Gamec to approve the Agenda of April 25, 1978, with the following changes, Move all items 1-5 under Old Business down one number to allow Representative Clawson to be placed as Item 1, add John Burns as Item ~7 under Old Business, add Tree Sale and Arbor Day as Item ~8 under Old Business. 5 Ayes CITIZEN INPUT Mark Harris, Scout Troop 204, was present and explained that he is working on his Eagel's status in sceU~. He asked if the Council would approve, since it is City land, his Eagle project of improving the Brookview Park. He said that if the City would approve some of the materials, such as paint, for example, that he and a few others working on the project wo~ld provide the labor and maintain the lawn ete~ for the summer. It was the consensus of the Council to cooperate and support him with his project and referred him to the Park Department which was holding a meeting this same night in a different part of the building.
