Introductions <br /> <br />C. Case called the meeting to order at 10:15 a.m. and introduced himself to the <br />committee. Case said invites were sent to about 30 groups and communities. A <br />permanent membership roster will be prepared for the next meeting. Committee <br />members introdued themselves. Case also noted that Steve Keefe, Metropolitan <br />Council Chair will select the Chair and Vice Chair of the committee. The Chair <br />of this committee will also be on the site selection committee. <br /> <br />II. Study Organizational Structure <br /> <br />Case reviewed the handout on the Reliever Airport Study coordination process. <br />The result of this study will be a report presented to the Metropolitan Council <br />and input to the Aviation Guide Chapter. The Aviation Guide will be amended <br />this year to include the Adequacy Study findings and results of the Public <br />Heliport Feasiblity Study. Additionally, the Adequacy Study findings are being <br />included in current legislation. Copies of this bill should be available at the <br />next meeting. <br /> <br />This study will be coordinated with the results of the major airport study. <br />The major airport study examined general aviation activities at MSP and demand <br />management strategies. The Reliever Airport Study will also be examining these <br />actvities. Later tJl_i~_~e~r~t~J~euncit will initiate a task force to examine a <br />new major airport and will review the final product from the Reliever <br />Study along with MAC's conceptual airport design. <br /> <br /> <br />
