Join the Ramsey EDA at their 8th annual Business Expo <br />this Saturday, April 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at The Fountains of Ramsey, 7533 Sunwood <br />Drive NW. Nearly 50 local businesses will be there including restaurants, professional services, <br />retail and more! You will receive a free Ramsey tote bag, as well as great coupons, fun giveaways <br />and information from participating vendors. The best part- admission is free! Bring the whole <br />family and experience the variety of businesses and services that Ramsey and its surrounding <br />communities have to offer. Attached to the Weekly Update is a Flyer for the. Ramsey EDA <br />Business Expo <br />Earth Day Event. Friday, April 22d, City staff will be celebrating Earth Day with our first annual <br />Employee Community litter clean-up in The COR—wellness for employees and our local <br />environment. Staff will voluntarily sign up for one of two 50 minute shifts and will be equipped <br />with safety vests, gloves, and trash bags. Attached to the Weekly Update is a Flyer Regarding <br />Ramsey Earth Day Celebration. <br />Landscape and Topsoil Requirements. At the 4/12/16 City Council Meeting, the topic of topsoil <br />and landscape requirement was discussed during Citizen Input. Staff will plan on bringing a <br />discussion topic to the Environmental Policy Board in the near future. In the meantime, attached <br />to the Weekly Update are resources that outline our current requirements. It is noted that there is <br />not a requirement for sod, and that projects may seed with a variety of vegetation types. The City <br />holds a surety to ensure that vegetation is established, which has been a necessary tool in a number <br />of circumstances. Attached to the Weekly Update are Flyers for both the Landscaping and <br />Topsoil Requirements in the City of Ramsey. <br />
