Case of Arthur St.-Hii!aire - Conditional Use Permit. <br />Mr. St. Hilair.e was present tO?exp~'ain that he is considering purchasing the <br />property at 14544 Nowthen B!.vd!N..W~ if he can operate a auto repair business <br />at that location. He expl~.in~ed that he usually purchases wrecked autos to re- <br />pair and sell,~ and that he ido~es have an outlet for the sales other than the <br />property if necessary. Ch~.ir~nan,'Ken Peterson explained that he would have <br />to apply for a co:nditional ~se.!permit and a public hearing would have to be held. <br />Mr. St. Hilaire was advised~ith~t he would be asked to soecifically describe his <br />intentions forlthe property~ a~d ,that if considered des~reable, definite con- <br />ditions would be attached a~ ~rt of the permit. Mr. St. Hilaire was advised to <br />ask the Administrator for t~e=~ecessary application if he wished to proceed. <br />Item 2. Case .of Arthur AndersOn , Subdivision Request. <br />M--F].-~-~son along with Keil~h ~rah~m~were present wit~-a request to subdivide a <br />3+ acre parcellinto three l~acre parcels in order to obtain permits to construct <br />houses for himself and two ~th~r members of his family. ' <br />Ron West stated that he was top~osed to this subdivision since it is located in <br />the rural area~and on Bison~St~eet Which is not considered an upgraded City <br />Street. Ken Peteron stated~th~t he felt it was too drastic a variance request, <br />and explained the problem wi'th!the school bus and Bison Street. A1 Sorteberg <br />explained that,we do have to f~lloW the existing ordinance, considering the <br />status of the street. Ken P~terSon explained that if Mr. Anderson wished <br />to apply for one oermit, he ~h~uld~keep :in mind that a subdivision could possibly <br />be allowed sometime in the Jt'~re, so lplacement of a house should be carefully <br />considered. <br />Motion by A1 Sorteberg, secc~id~d by R°n West to recommend to the City Council <br />to deny the request by Mr. Jrt~ur~Anderson to subdivide a 3.02 acre parcel <br /> <br /> <br />
