PLANNING & ZONING <br /> <br /> City of Ramsey <br />County of Anoka <br />State of Minnesota <br /> <br />March 16, 1978 <br />6:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Chairman Ken Peterson <br />Art Dunn <br />Ron West <br />A1 Sorteberg <br />Jerry Zimmerman <br /> <br />Brad Bodle <br />Kathy Schneider <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Phil Nereson, City Adm. <br />Pete Raatikka, City Engr. <br /> <br />Chairman Ken Peterson called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. <br /> <br />Pineview Estates Prelimina]r~v Plat <br /> <br />Mr. Menkveld and Jeff Caine presented to the Planning Commission the fourth <br />revision for Pineview Estates Preliminary Plat. A general discussion was <br />held relative to the improvement from the previous submissions on the basis <br />of access to County Road 56 and lot configuration. <br /> <br />Motion by Sorteberg, seconded by Zimmerman to grant a variance to Gilbert <br />Menkveld and Pineview Estates Preliminary Plat for deficient lot width on <br />Lots 7 and 8 Block 3, Lots 3, ~9, and 10 Block 4. Motion carried 5 - O~ <br /> <br />Motion by West and seconded by Dunn to recommend to the City Council the <br />approval of the preliminary plat of Pineview Estates fourth revision dated <br />March 15, 1978, subject to. previous variance granted on deficient lot widths <br />and subject to a park dedication fee of $4,900. Motion passed 5 - O. <br /> <br />Donald Nieman Home Occupation <br /> <br />Mr. Nereson reviewed with the Commission an application by Donald Nieman for <br />the addition of a 36 x 36 structure to an existing building for the expansion <br />of a home occupation, sewiDg business. The Commission also reviewed the <br />original application and original authorization dated March 29, 1976, Mr. <br />Nieman was not present. The application was tabled until the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission and City Council had reviewed the home occupation ordinance. <br /> <br />Grosslein Beverage Variance <br /> <br />Mr. Nereson reviewed a letter received from Herman Talle, Attorney for Grosslein <br />Beverages. The letter concerns the possible sale of a property north of the <br />Grosslein Beverage, Inc., location and a possible variance from the sideyard <br />setback for an addition to:the Grosslein building. The Planning Commission <br />asked that the City Attorney give them an opinion on the status of the 66 foot <br />right-of-way north of Grosslein, Inc. referred to in the letter as Dickenson <br />Blvd. Matter tabled. <br /> <br /> <br />
