Planning & Zoning <br />R~gular ~eting ' <br />>lay 2, 1977 <br /> <br /> .REGULAR MEETING OF <br /> RAMSAY PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION <br /> CITY O~ RAMSEY <br /> <br />A regular meeting of ~he Ramsey City Planning & Zoning Commission <br />was held on May 2, 19~7, at Ramsey Elementary School, 15000 Nowthen <br />Boulevard at 7:25 p.mt <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br /> <br />Ron West <br />A1 Sorteberg <br />Tom Gamec, Chairman <br />Ken PetersOn <br />Gerald zirmnerman <br /> <br />Also present: AdminiStrative Assistant Phil Nereson <br />Ron ~Yest moved to approve the minutes as mailed for April 4, 1977, <br />Seconded by Ron Peter~on and carried 5 - 0. <br /> <br />A1 Sorteberg moved toiapprove the minutes as mailed for April 19, 1977, <br />Seconded by Ron West ~nd carried 4 - 0. <br /> <br />Eon Peterson abstaine~ because he was not present at that meeting. <br /> <br />Phil Nereson then tooR about 20 minutes to update Planning & Zoning <br />on current city busznsss such as E.Q.C., Metro Council, and Metro <br />Sewer and D.N.R. actzVztzes. <br /> <br />1) DARNELL BLI/Ng - V~RIANCE REQUEST <br />A1 Sorteberg moved to {recommend to the City Council to grant ~. <br />Blume a conditional u~e oermit so as to obtain a building permit on <br />his 37 acre tract of ~and. Seconded by Ken Peterson and carried 5-0. <br /> <br />2. I*~SLEY BULEN - R~4ONINC REQUEST <br />Mr. Bulen has 80 acresl near 167th and State Highway No. 47, which <br />is across from Bob's ~oUntry Market. He wanted the opinion of P & Z <br />members as to what they thought of having his land rezoned from R-1 <br />to B-1 or B-2. Most ~embers thought it would be wrong to rezone this <br />area to B-1 as it wou~d be against the Comprehensive Plan; by <br />creating more businessi too far north of the proposed sewers locations. <br /> <br />Mr. Bulen only wanted <br />so no action was re~ui <br /> <br />3.
