SPECIAL MEETING OF R~c~EY TOWNSHIP PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br /> July 22, 1974 <br /> <br />This meeting was held after the public hearing had been closed. <br />Meeting 'was called to order by the Chairman, Mr. Sorteberg~ Pre- <br />sent were Mr. Pittman~ Mr. Bodle, Mr. Emmans, Mr. Springer and <br />Mrs. Guy. <br /> <br />Discussion on the fac~, that we are in immediate need of a Green <br />Belt Ordimzuce on Trott and Ford Brooks. Suggestion was 15 feet <br />above the high water 3~evel on both of these brooks across the en- <br />tire Township. This ~.s the only way in which this area can be <br />saved because it cann~t be done at the time plats come in because <br />so often just one sid~ or the other is in the plat or it winds in <br />and out of the plat. We want to keep the brooks in their natural <br />state. ~r .... Bodle mowed '~e recommend to the Town Board the urgen- <br />cy of %he need for th~s green belt area along both Trott and Ford <br />Brook for their entir~ length in Ramsey Township for the preser- <br />vation of %heir natural state. Mm~, Heidelberger has geese, ducks, and he <br />had 3 calves but now l~e iUas 6 or 7 and says he is going to get more <br />so he will have lO. };e is putting the manure from these animals <br />in a swamp in this ne~ ghbo~hood. There is a 35 foot man made hole <br />in this swamp. ~Cr, Beaudry, the owner of this hole, has been noti-. <br />lied to £i!l or fence this hole as it is very dangerous for child-' <br />ren. Mr~ l~{eidelberger kept horses in his garage last year. He <br />moved into his house ia December of 1972. When Mike went to see <br />him about these t:ompl~inbs he told him he was going to move the <br />calves out in five days~ That was on June 27, 1974. Instead of <br />getting ~id of them he ;L~ adding more to them. He called the Town <br />Hall about that ~ime 8sking about putting up a 16xl6 building for <br />storage and 2 rabbits. He was told to go to the Planning and Zon- <br />ing Commission about this matter. Instead he put up a building of <br />sorts. He has all thds livestock on i acre of land and it is very <br />unpleasant for the neighbors. Mr. Bodle moved we recommend that <br />the Town Board have ou~ attorney send a letter to Mr. Beaudry stat- <br />ing he i~s violation of Ordinance 73-5, General Regulations, Sec. <br />6.2, paragraph B~ giving him l0 days to fill this hOle.
