8:05 <br /> <br />8:22 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF RA~:EY' TOWNSHIP PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION <br /> July l, 197& <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by the .Chairman, Mr. <br />Reimann. Present were Mr. Pittman, Mr. Chapman, Mr. Emmans, Mr. <br />Bodle, and Mrs. Guy, an~i Mr. Springer. <br /> <br />Mr. Martin Gotham was ~resent at the request of the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission to d~scuss the roads in Sandy Acres. There are <br />no ditches, which need to be put in, regrading some of the streets, <br />etc. according to the ~ngineer's report of March 22, 1973. Mr. <br />Gorham said he would m~et wi~h the engineer in this addition to <br />discuss this situation with him. Mr. Gorham said he would do what- <br />ever needs to be done to bring this addition to the standard re- <br />quired at the time thi~ plat was accepted. <br /> <br />The Commission discussed the need for more commercial and indus- <br />trial property for th~ Township, in view of the fact that the <br />City of Anoka took a sizeable chunk of what we did have. The <br />following areas were soggested: <br /> <br /> Variolite Street ~ad Green Valley Road. <br /> Northwest of 167th and Highway No. 5. <br /> Baugh Street at 181st Street <br /> Industry Ave~ at Sanfish Lake Blvd. <br /> Land south of the Town Hall to Industry Ave. <br /> Wilbur Chapman property west of KANO <br /> <br />Discussion on home occupation zoning. Mr. Springer moved we de- <br />lete the words "a¢cesso~ building." Seconded by Mr. Pittman. <br /> <br />The regular meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m. by the Chair~ <br />man. <br /> <br />The ~mtnutes of the last s~ated meeting were read by the Chairman. <br />The minutes were accepted as read by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />Mr. Lloyd Bearl: He wa~ted a mobile home to use for surveillance <br />purposes and to live in, with sewer ~nd water supplied to the home. <br />The Commission suggested he put up a fence and get a dog for sur- <br />veillance purposes. He was informed we have an ordinance against <br />living in mo~ile homes outside of mobile home parks. There was <br />a repetitio~s discussion ~ Mr. Bodle moved that we recommend Nr. <br />Bearl be given a permit for a mobile home for surveillance pur- <br />poses only with no sewe~ or water for a period of 90 days. This <br />was seconded by Mr~ Cha~m~no Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Tom P~terson: 'Want~ ~nother garage for storing antique cars <br />24x36 feet. He was told to bring a drawing of the building to <br />the next meeting ~nd the signatures of the surrounding property <br />owners within 350 feet ~tating their opinions on this matter. <br />The building would have to be 35 feet from the back property line <br />and lO feet from the side line. He asked what about putting on <br />another addition to k£s present garage. He was told ~his was much <br />to be preferred to putting up another building. If he does this he <br /> <br /> <br />
