PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />RAMSEY TOWNSHIP PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION <br /> Nay 20, 197& <br /> <br />The hearing on Hagen ~llders Planned Unit Development plat on <br />Armstrong Blvd. just north of Trott Brook, was brought to order <br />at 7:30 p.m. by the Chairman, Mr. Reimann. Present were Mr. Pit,- <br />man, Mr. Sorteberg, Nra Springer, Mr. Emmans, Mr. Bodle and Mrs. <br />Guy. <br /> <br />Mr. West explained the plat of 120 acres of one acre or larger <br />lots with about 50 acres in park land. The number of houses is <br />the same as if they had 2} acres per house. <br /> <br />Mr. Gordon: I understood that the north side of Trott Brook re- <br />quired 2{~ acres per loC. <br /> <br />Mr. West: ~ey chose this property because it was the only wooded <br />land around there~ <br /> <br />Mr. Gordon: He said h,~ lives near this area d me he said residents <br />don't like this. He s~id he was there first ~d he wants to stay. <br />He said new people moving in don't like to have farms operating <br />near them, <br /> <br />Mr. West: tt will bri~.g the value of your land up. <br /> <br />Mr. Gordon: <br />of cattle. <br /> <br />He said n~ residents moving in don't like the smell <br /> <br />Mr. Vernon ~rand: He ~aid roads will have ~o be widened and im- <br />proved and we will need more schools. <br /> <br />Mr. Peterson: Mrs° Jo~es ~spretty well blocked off by this plat. <br />He had built the road for her at his own expense. He asked if <br />they were going to pay for all the roads. <br /> <br />Mr. West~ ~es. <br />are completed. <br /> <br />Roads will be deeded to the Township when they <br /> <br />Mr. Bodle moved that t~is matter be passed on to the Town Board <br />giving them the ideas expressed here this evening and that it should <br />be either' rezoned to one acre development or it would need a var- <br />iance to a P.U.D. development.
