PUBLIC HEARING RAMSE¥ TOWNSHIP PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION April 22, 197& ON REZONING PARTS OF B-2 AREA ALONG MISSISSIPPI The hearing was calle~~, to order at 7:00 p.m. by the Chairman, Mr. Reimann, Present were Mr. Sorteberg, Mr. Pittman, Mr. Emmans, Mr. Bodle, Mr. Springer, and Mrs. Guy. Mr. Merle Anderson, 622& Rivlyn Ave. N.W. said.he lived on the street just north of the Mississippi .River and_that he was sur-' prised when they zoned this residential .area .into commercial last May. Mr. Reiman~ explained that ~thts was. an.oversight and not intentional and that was the purpose of: this hearing. He said tb~s. hearing was for the purpose of readjusting the zoning between~ Highway 10 and the Mississippi River. Mr. Duke Carlson, 623? Rivlyn St. N.W. He said he felt the same way abou~ the pr®sent zoning as Mr. Merle Anderson'. Mr. Gustafaon, 6256 R~.vlyn St. N. W. He thinks the zoning 'should be changed back to th~ way it. was before the new zoning map was. adopted last May. He thinks the entrance to the new warehouse building should be changed to the west end of the .building other- ~ise it ~rlll come out in front of one of the homes. He was asked if he had any suggestions. He said there .is another road which comes out right behind Castle Homes pr~.perty. He said it would also save maint,~nance on the road on .the .east side of the building. Mr. Bull:Lck: lumber yard° How mucL are you rezoning? Would it~affect the Mr. Gustafson: Feels the Planning and Zoning Commission should recommend ~o the Town Board that this zoning should be put back as it was before May which was 27~ feet commercialsouth of High- way No. 10~ Mr. Sorteberg moved we recommend that the zoning be put back to 275 feet commercial south of Highway lO.in the R-~-2 zonesand then residential to the river.
