PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION <br /> <br /> City of Ramsey <br /> Anoka County <br />State of Minnesota <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey Planning & Zoning Commission was held on <br />October ?, 1980 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., <br />Ramsey, Minnesota 55303. <br /> <br />Chairman Ken Peterson called the meeting to order at 8:00 P.M. with the <br />following in attendance: <br /> <br />Ken Pe%erson Chairman <br /> <br />Harry Ellis <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Benjamin Deemer <br />Gerald Zimmerman <br />Art Dunn <br /> <br />Also Present: <br />Lloyd Schnelle, City Administrator <br />Members Absent: Kathy Schneider <br /> Ron West <br /> <br />It was requested that "Discussion of Uses of Business in Commercial Area" <br />and "Proposed Ordinance Change in the Planning Ordinance" be added to the <br />Agenda and listed as Items #4 and #5 respectively. Also, "Budget Review", Item #6. <br /> <br />The agenda was approved with the noted additions. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF PLANNING & ZONING MINUTES (Regular P & Z, 9/2/80) <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson noted on page 5 under "Subdivide by Metes and Bounds; <br />Case of Raymond Mox" that the vote on the motion stated "Motion carried <br />?-0". This should be corrected to read, "Motion carried. 5-2" as <br />Chairman Peterson and Ben Deemer voted "no" on this motion. <br /> <br />Motion by Gerald Zimmerman and seconded by Harry Ellis to approve the <br />minutes with correction. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />NOTE BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> <br />Ben Deemer questioned the September 11, 1980 date of the public information <br />meeting on the bond issue proposal which was listed in the Ramsey Park <br />and Recreation Commission Special Meeting Minutes of September 28, 1980. <br /> <br />The commission requested that city staff call to check with John Lichter <br />or Terry McLean on the date of this meeting and pass the information on <br />to Ben Deemer. <br /> <br />Art Dunn commented regarding Ms. Van Wagner's comments on page 2 of <br />the September 8, 1980 Regular Council Meeting Minutes which stated <br />that he said his equipment was locked up in his basement and he told them <br />to close up their windows and turn on their air conditioners and that was <br />all that could be done until the following Monday. Art Dunn said this is <br />incorrect. He said the situation was investigated the same evening as the <br />phone call (Saturday evening) and that the~-w~'~ocked in the County <br />Courthouse, not his basement. ~-~-~"~-~ <br /> <br /> P & Z Regular Meeting Page 1 10/?/80 <br /> <br /> <br />
