CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, June 29, 2004, at <br />the Ramsey City Hall, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br /> <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />David Elvig <br />Patti Kurak <br />A1 Pearson <br />Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Assistant Community Development Director Patrick Trudgeon <br />Police Chief Jim Way <br />Bill Baxley of BKV <br />Cheryl Badinger of 3D/I <br /> <br />CAI. I. TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamcc called the City Council Work Session to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1) Ramsey Government Center Facility <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Nelson reported the Facility Committee has been meeting regularly <br />on the Schematic Design and Visioning process for the new City Hall and Police Facility project. <br />The Schematic Design will be finished in early August. The informational open house held <br />earlier this evening was a part of the visioning process, offering the public an opportunity to <br />comment on the project early in its development. The next step in the process would be to <br />complete the Design Development through the Final Design Documents for the project. BKV <br />Group and 3D/I Group have provided a schedule with costs associated with the next phases of <br />the design.
