PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Public Works Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, June 17, 2003 at <br />the Ramsey Fire Station Number I, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Gerald Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Principal City Engineer Brian Olson <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Zimmerman called the regular meeting of the Public Works Committee to order at <br />5:30 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />There was llone. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />2) Installation of Sidewalk on 145th Lane and 146th Avenue <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that with the recent approval of the Village of Sunfish Lake <br />subdivision, it was decided that a sidewalk would be placed along the north side of 145th Lane in <br />lieu of an 8-foot bituminous trail along the rear of these properties that was originally proposed <br />by the developer. In addition, the sidewalk which will be installed on the south side of 146th <br />Avenue through the Village of Sunfish Lake will also need to be extended past three existing lots <br />to connect to the existing sidewalk on Potassium Street. The purpose of this case was intended <br />to outline the process for effecting this improvement and address several issues regarding this <br />project. <br /> <br />Project Schedule: The anticipated project schedule is anticipated as follows: <br /> <br />(1) <br />(2) <br /> <br />Perform survey work <br />Present plans and specs, to Council, authorize bids <br /> <br />Week of June 23, 2003 <br />July 22, 2003 <br /> <br />Public Works Committee/June 17, 2003 <br /> Page 1 of 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
