CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a work session on Tuesday, January 15, 2002, <br />Ramsey Fire Station Number II, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Susan E. Anderson <br />Councilmember Patti Kurak <br />Councilmember Terry Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator, James E. Norman <br /> <br />at the <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the work session of the City Council to order at 7:35 p.m. <br /> <br />WORK SESSION TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1) Interim City Hall Remodeling <br /> <br />Sheryl Boddinger, E & V Consultants, presented the Council with a proposed interim remodeling <br />project for City Hall. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec expressed concern that the City Clerk area would be reduced. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman replied that the City Clerk would be relocated to an office. <br /> <br />Ms. Boddinger reviewed costs of the proposed project with a total project cost of $31,968. <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson inquired if people would be able to have face to face contact with the <br />glass panels. <br /> <br />Ms. Boddinger replied yes, explaining that the windows would slide open. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec inquired if the east area should be replaced with glass since it is currently used for <br />postings. <br /> <br />City Council/January 15, 2002 <br /> Page 1 of 8 <br /> <br /> <br />
