CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a work session on Monday, August 5, 2002, at the Ramsey <br />Fire Station Number II, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Susan E. Anderson <br />Councilmember Patti Kurak (arrived at 7:22 p.m.) <br />Councilmember Terry Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Finance Officer Diane Lund <br />Director of Public Works Dean Kapler <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the work session of the City Council to order at 7:14 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman asked the Council to first consider Case #2 while City Attorney <br />Goodrich is present. <br /> <br />The agenda was approved as revised. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />2) Mississippi Sub-Drainage District #1 Storm Project (7/9/02) <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman stated this topic was discussed.in closed session but some issues <br />cannot be discussed in closed session. In the past, staff was directed to negotiate with several <br />property owners but ceased negotiations when the Highway 10 Corridor Study was going on. He <br />noted that the property to the east of the former Dillion property had an appraisal value of <br />$334,162 and the other two parcels had an appraisal value of $243,700. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen asked if that was for the entire parcel or just what will be acquired. <br /> <br />City Council Work Session/August 5, 2002 <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
