PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey Public Works Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, November 18, <br />2003 at the Ramsey Fire Station Number I, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br />Members Present: <br />Members Absent: <br />Also Present: <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Gerald Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Mayor Tom Gamec (Alternate) <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Assistant Director of Public Works Brian Olson <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Street Maintenance Supervisor Grant Riemer <br />Chairperson Zimmerman called the regular meeting of the Public Works Committee to order at <br />5:39 p.m. <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br />None. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Mayor Gamec, to approve the agenda as <br />presented. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Zimmerman, Councilmember Cook, and Mayor <br />Gamec. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Elvig. <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br />Case #1: Snow Plowing Update for 2003 — 2004 <br />Street Maintenance Supervisor Riemer explained that every year the City attempts to put together <br />a list of procedures that staff plans to utilize over the snowplowing season.
