The Ramsey City Council has called an Emergency City Council <br />meeting to be held Monday, March 30, to discuss the impacts this Executive Order will have on <br />City services and City employees. Attached to the Weekly Update is MN Governor Tim Walz <br />Emergency Stay at Home Executive Order 20-20 and Guidance on Essential Critical <br />Infrastructure Workforce <br />Impacts on City Services: <br />• Municipal Center and Park Building Closure is extended until May 4, 2020 <br />• Administration: City staff will not be booking new meetings until after May 4. Existing <br />meetings that were booked now through April 30 have been cancelled. <br />• Community Development: Inspections will continue as normal. Business and Peddlers <br />licenses have been temporarily suspended. See our Economic Development website for <br />more information regarding the effects on businesses in the community. <br />• Engineering: Technical staff will continue field work, including inspections necessary, <br />to support essential construction projects. <br />• Fire: No change in emergency response; no fire inspections, no burn permits or other <br />permits being issued. <br />
