CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a work session on Tuesday, July 10, 2001, at the Ram~ey <br />Fire Station #2, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. , <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Susan E. Anderson <br />Councilmember Terry Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Patti Kurak <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator, James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Klm Moore-Sykes <br />Human Resources Manager Rhonda Heryla <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the work session of the City Council to order at 5:38 p.m. <br /> <br />WORK SESSION TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1) QCTV <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman noted that the item is part of the regular City Council agenda in <br />which staffwill be requesting authorization to submit a proposal to QCTV. The proposal staffis <br />proposing to be submitted is that the City subsidize $15,000 of thc $85,000 land price and waive <br />utility hook-up charges. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak inquired as to the total amount the City would be waiving in hook-up <br />charges. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman replied that he did not have those figures in front of him, but staff <br />was proposing the hook-up charges to the street be waived, not the connection to the building. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen inquired in regard to Mr. Sharp's proposal to QCTV. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman explained that Mr. Sharp is presenting a proposal to QCTV which <br />includes a total cost for the land and the building. <br /> <br />City Council/July 10, 2001 <br /> Page 1 of 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
