CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, July 12, 2005, at <br />the Ramscy Fire Station Number 1, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br /> <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />David Elvig <br />David Jeffrey <br />Mary Jo Olson <br />A1 Pearson <br /> <br />Mcmbcrs Absent: Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Director of Public Works Dean Kapler <br />Assistant Public Works Director Brian Olson <br /> <br />CALl, 'FO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 6:17 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />City A&ninistrator Norman added Case No. 2: Bid Alternates for the Municipal Center Parking <br />Facility. <br /> <br />Thc agenda was approved as amended. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1) Trunk & Server Extension Development Agreement <br /> <br />Assistant Public Works Director Olson reviewed staff discussed a proposed development <br />agreement with Oakwood Land Development during a work session held on May 24, 2005. The <br />proposed development agreement would have Oakwood Land Development contribute $6 <br />million toward the cost of a trunk and sewer extension in order to bring about proposed <br />development projects. The Council reviewed a draft of the proposed development agreement <br />during the work session and directed staff to provide better detail to the development agreement <br />and assure that the City is not required an interest payment for the reimbursement. <br /> <br />City Council Work Session/July 12, 2005 <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
