Voting <br />No: None. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Consider Proposal for Sewer Study North of Trottbrook <br /> <br />Assistant Public Works Director Olson reviewed that recently, the City Council adopted an <br />ordinance that allowed for the clustering of housing to facilitate orderly urban development north <br />of the Trottbrook. One advantage to this type of housing is that it allows infrastructure to be <br />installed fbr urban services when they become available. The City has received a number of <br />cluster development requests within the last month and staff is looking for direction on how to <br />proceed, lie advised there has been significant discussion with the Metropolitan Council <br />regarding capacity, and when the City was writing the update to the Comprehensive Sewer Plan <br />they did not expand thc urban service area to the area north of Trottbrook. Staff was informed <br />by a Metropolitan Council representative that a sewer treatment facility north of Trottbrook will <br />not be rcquirecl, with full capacity allowed, and that the City would receive a letter stating this <br /> <br />Finance Committee / August 9, 2005 <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
