FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Thc Ramsey Fire Department conducted the monthly officers meeting on Tuesday, March 6, <br />2001, at the Ramsey Fire Station g2, 15010 Armstrong Blvd. NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />OFFICERS PRESENT: <br /> <br />Chief Kapler <br />Assistant Chief Hoxter <br />Officer Lemm <br />Officer Lewandowski <br />Officer Streich <br />Officer Weiss <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chief Kapler called the officers meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order at 7:40 p.m. <br />()pen Itouse for Station g2 and Hose Testing were added to the agenda. <br /> <br />Thc next officer's meeting is scheduled for Sunday, April 1, 2001, 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />I)uty officer for March is Officer Streich. <br /> <br />SAFETY CONCERNS <br /> <br />· Earplugs will be purchased and each vehicle will have a supply. <br /> <br />MSDS sheets will be written for chemicals on the premises for both stations. Items this will <br />include are both foams, fluids for the Hurst tools, gasoline, floor dry, etc. Assistant Chiefs <br />Hoxter and Simpson will determine the location for the MSDS sheets to be displayed and <br />accessible. <br /> <br />The Department uses face shields as the OSHA required eye protection. <br /> <br />SOG REVIEW <br /> <br />Officers reviewed the SOGs Workplace Accident and Injury Reduction Program and Right to <br />Know Policy. The SOGs will be brought to the firefighters to review and discuss at their <br />March business meeting. <br /> <br />CELL PHONES ON DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />Cell phones have been ordered for Engine gl and g2, Rescue Truck gl and the Chief's <br />vehicle. Assistant Chief Simpson will install the phones. <br /> <br /> <br />
