FIRE DEPARTMENT CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA q'hc Ramscy Fire Department conducted a regular meeting on Wednesday, March 13, 2002, at Ramscy l:ire Station #2, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. MONTI I LY REPORTS ? 77/1 IN~N(/ ()~'licer l,cmm reviewed the Training Report. February training included Traffic Control and EMT Test. The Railroad Safety class will be rcschcdulcd for another time. Chief Kapler reciprocated the traffic control training of the Police Department by training their department on space needs of the Fire Department at a scene, location of the extrication equipment, medical equipment and how much water is carried to the scenes. March training includes Search & Rescue/Right to Know, 02 Management and Helicopter I,anding Zones. Helicopter Landing Zones will be a half hour of classroom and the duration el' thc drill will be with the helicopter. Officer Lemm will post which training classes turnout gear is needed. · ()l'ficcr Lcmm will post a list of those with perfect attendance and make up drills. Drills will bc made tip each month after the Business Meeting. · I:irclighters Ostrum and Groezinger will be attending a State School. There are eight openings still available if anyone is interested. 'l'hc grill is finished, has been used and works great. The light needs to be repaired. There is space between the tank and the burner for a freezer or something if everyone is interested in purchasing one.
