FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramscy Fire Department conducted a regular meeting on Wednesday, July 10, 2002, at <br />Ramsey Fire Station #2, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />(;ALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chief Kapler called the regular meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />Thcrc were twenty-five firefighters in attendance. There were no additions to the agenda. <br /> <br />Congratulations to Firefighter Gordon who completed Fire Fighter I. <br /> <br />MONTIILY REPORTS <br /> <br />TRAINING <br /> <br />Chief Kapler reviewed the Training Report. <br /> <br />· June training included Power Line Rescue, Medical Emergencies, and Hose Testing. <br /> <br />· July training includes Company A vs. Company B and Major Maintenance. There was no <br /> drill on July 3rd and there will not be a drill on July 17th to allow fir¢fighters to participate in <br /> the Safety Camp. <br /> <br />MAJOR MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />Officer Weiss reviewed the Major Maintenance Report. <br /> <br />· The rear back up lens cover on Tanker #1 was replaced. <br /> <br />o Firetighters should try out the new sirens installed to see how they work. <br />· The truck has a hitch installed to pull the rescue boat. <br /> <br />· Station #1 vehicles' fuel level was found to be below % full. <br /> <br />R A D I( ),S/PA GERS/SCBA <br /> <br />Officer Streich reviewed the Radios/Pagers/SCBA Report. <br /> <br />° Four new Minetor III pagers are here. Five pagers are out for service. <br /> <br /> <br />
