FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Thc Ramsey Fire Department conducted the monthly officers meeting on Wednesday, September <br />~ 2003 at Ramsey Fire Station #1, 15050 Armstrong Blvd. NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />()FFICERS PRESENT: <br /> <br />Chief Kapler <br />Assistant Chief Hoxter <br />Assistant Chief Lemm <br />Officer Lecy <br />Officer Lewandowski <br />Officer Minear <br />Officer Nelson <br />Officer Weiss <br /> <br />CALI~ TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chict' Kaplcr called the officers meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Duty officer for September is Officer Lewandowski; October Officer Minear; November Officer <br />l,ecy and December Officer Weiss. Officers approved this schedule. <br /> <br />Thc next officers meeting will be Tuesday, September 30, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />SAFETY CONCERNS <br /> <br />Thc Grass Trucks will be prepared for use because of the dry conditions. <br /> <br />Two SCBA bottles were not connected on Engine #2. Two air-packs from Station #2 were at <br />Station #1. Items on the run reports need to be done, not just the report filled out. <br /> <br />I~AI)DER TRUCK UPDATE <br /> <br />· Thc graphic company will leave the patch off of the truck until the Department decides <br /> which patch to use. At that time possibly all the trucks will have the patch put on them. <br /> <br />Monday, September 8th at 1:00 p.m. firefighters will go to General and do a check off of the <br />specs. On Thursday, September 11th at 6:00 firefighters will go to General to look over the <br />truck and approve delivery. If graphics can be done at the station, delivery could be on <br />Friday, September 12th in time for the Happy Days parade. <br /> <br />Thrcc days of training are provided on the details of the truck. All officers and the City <br />Mechanic should attend. Chief Kapler will talk with General on when and how long classes <br />will be. <br /> <br /> <br />
