FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Fire Department conducted a regular meeting on Wednesday, May 12, 2004, at <br />R amsey Fire Station # 1, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chief Kepler called the regular meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order at 7:10 p.m. <br />There were eighteen firefighters in attendance. There were no additions to the agenda. <br /> <br />Duty Officer for opening fishing weekend is Officer Lewandowski. <br /> <br />MONTltLY REPORTS <br /> <br />TRAINING <br /> <br />Officer Lecy reviewed the Training Report. <br /> <br />· April training included Ladder Truck Awareness, BTLS, and Pump Practice. <br /> <br />· May training includes Pump Testing, BTLS, and Water Rescue. <br /> <br /> June training includes Hose Testing, ISO Testing, Mystery Ladder Truck Drill and Major <br /> Maintenance. <br /> <br />MAJOR MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />Chief Kepler reviewed the Major Maintenance Report. <br /> <br />° Drains should be pumped year round. <br /> <br />o Emergency Apparatus was out to repair Engine#2 primer and looked at Grass # 1. It may be <br /> time lbr a new motor and pump in Grass # 1. <br /> <br />· Station floors need to be kept cleaned. <br /> <br />RA D IO,qTPA G E RS/SC BA <br /> <br />Chief Kepler reviewed the Radios/Pagers/SCBA Report. <br /> <br />° Radios for the Anoka County 800 megahertz are on order. The system should be ready in <br /> late 3ra quarter or early 4th quarter, depending on the completion of training by the County. <br /> <br /> <br />
