FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Thc Ramsey Fire Department conducted a regular meeting on Wednesday, May 10, 2000, at the <br />Ramscy Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />(~AI~I~ TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chief Kapler called the regular meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />There wore twenty-one fire fighters in attendance. Added to the agenda was discussion of <br />holding a CPR course for family members. A Saturday or Sunday would work out best. <br /> <br />MONTltLY REPORTS <br /> <br />TR/IININ(/ <br /> <br />Assistant Chief Hoxter reviewed the Training Report. <br /> <br />· April training included Foam Pro, Medical START Program and Clandestine Drug Labs. <br /> Thc Foam Pro was a good hands on training. The Clandestine Drug Lab was long and <br /> fircfighters either liked it or didn't, there was no in between. <br /> <br />· May training includes Search and Rescue, a Medical training, and Major Maintenance. There <br /> will bc one drill on May 24th, the day firefighters should attend the evening drill. <br /> <br />· At Major Maintenance the gas powered tools should be started by each firefighter. <br /> <br /> I;ulurc possibilities for drills are training with another department, a possible Saturday <br /> morning drill, Air Packs and a live burn. <br /> <br />MA,/OR MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />Chi¢l' Kaplcr reviewed the Major Maintenance Report. <br /> <br />· l~nginc Two had the charging system repaired with a bigger pulley installed on the alternator. <br /> <br /> Grass Rig Two had a tune-up and the carburetor replaced. <br /> <br />° Marker light replaced on Tanker Two. <br /> <br />· Adapters have been ordered for Engine Two, they will be the same as Engine One. A strainer <br /> needs to be ordered. <br /> <br /> <br />
