FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />ri'he Ramsey Fire Department conducted a regular meeting on Wednesday, October 11, 2000, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />(:ALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Assistant Chief Hoxter called the regular meeting o£ the Ramsey Fire Department to order at <br />7:00 p.m. There were fifteen fire fighters in attendance. There were no additions to the agenda. <br /> <br />MONTItLY REPORTS <br /> <br />7 'RAINING <br /> <br />Of'ricer IJemm reviewed the Training Report. <br /> <br />· <br /> <br />September training included a mutual aid drill, a medical defibrillator class and pump <br />operations. Eight firefighters have to make up the defibrillator class by watching the video; it <br />is a mandatory drill. At the pump operations class, firefighters liked the watch, do and train <br />way o£training, however, the evening instructors were distracted at times. <br /> <br />October training will include pump operations test, environmental emergenCies and a chief's <br />drill. <br /> <br />Blood borne pathogens and hose identification will take place December 20~. <br /> <br />3,4/L]OR M,4 INTENANCE <br /> <br />Chief Kapler reviewed the Major Maintenance Report. <br /> <br />· The gas fan for Engine #2 has been ordered and received. <br /> this week. <br /> <br />It will be prepared for installation <br /> <br />Custom could not find anything wrong with the foam pro unit on Engine #2. <br /> <br />Emergency Apparatus was here today for the annual pump certification. <br /> <br />Engine #1 needs new batteries. <br /> <br />pump fitting was replaced on Grass #1. <br /> <br /> <br />
