The filing period for the seats on Council closed at 5:00 pm, <br />Tuesday, May 31. The following is a list of the filings: At-Large: Jeffrey (Jeff) Lubarski and Chris <br />Riley, Ward 1: Milene (Mickey) Adams, Wayne Grimmer and Michael Olson, Councilmember <br />Ward 3: Rachal Johnson and Dan Specht. The withdrawal period closed at 5:00 pm, Thursday, <br />June 2. The Councilmember Ward 1 race will be on the Primary Ballot. The two candidates in that <br />race receiving the most votes will move on to the General Election Ballot. A primary is not <br />necessary for the races with two or less candidates. <br /> <br />Come Work With Us! <br />The City of Ramsey is hiring for the following positions: <br /> Receptionist/Secretary – Part-time. Is responsible for reception desk duties such as <br />greeting and directing visitors in the Municipal Center, handling incoming calls, answering <br />questions, collecting information and directing calls to appropriate departments; as well as <br />processing payments, preparing receipts and notarizing documents. In addition, this <br />position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Administrative Services <br />Department, including assisting with the City’s annual Happy Days Festival, election <br />duties and other duties as assigned. The hours are Monday through Friday, 12:30 to 4:30 <br />pm. This is a non-exempt AFSCME union position. Salary range: $22.379 to $24.616 per <br />hour depending on qualifications. This position closes at 11:59 pm on Sunday, June 5, <br />2022. <br /> IT Security Administrator. The primary objective of this position may include, but is not <br />limited to, mitigating unauthorized access to data on City-managed networks through the <br />planning, implementation and administration of cybersecurity solutions and best practices. <br />This position focuses heavily on network security and will work closely with all <br />departments, LOGIS and other affiliated entitles to identify present security needs, as well <br /> <br />
