PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning Commission conducted a special meeting on Tuesday, April 18, 2000, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Leo Anderson <br />Commissioner Chris Dempsey <br />Commissioner Bill Kociscak <br />Commissioner Michael Nixt <br />Commissioner Joe Wivoda <br /> <br />Member Absent: <br /> <br />Commissioner Robert Johnson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Anderson called the special meeting to order at 6:40 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Kociscak, to a~pprove the agenda as <br />presented. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Anderson, Commissioners Nixt, Kociscak, Dempsey, <br />and Wivoda. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Johnson. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Request for Site Plan Review of Accessory Building for City-Wide Garage <br />Door; Case of Ivan Clauson <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik stated that the applicant, Ivan Clauson, has a 960 <br />square foot accessory building that lies within the easement for the extension of sewer and water <br />utilities to B & B Carpet, immediately west of City-Wide's property. Installation requires <br />demolition of the building and reconstruction of a new one outside the utility easement. The <br />applicant proposes to construct a new 960 square foot building, which does not exceed the 30% <br />of principal building size restriction.
